New Delhi, 16th March, 2023 : The 44th Edition of India Carpet Expo, Organized by Carpet Export Promotion Council at NSIC Exhibition Ground, Okhla, New Delhi, has received overwhelming response from 292 overseas buyers from across the world in the two day of the Expo with presence of 99 Buying representatives. India Carpet Expo “Showcasing new Fall-winter collection, as per the buyers’ requirements in terms of size, design, colour and quality which is grabbing the interest of the buyers.
Mr. Zahid Beg, MLA Bhadohi visited the Expo on the 2nd day of the fair expressed his happiness over the arrangements made by the Organizers. Mr. Beg expressed hope that the fair will generate huge business for the participants and provide employment opportunity for the weaker section of the society who are associated with the carpet industry directly or indirectly. Mr. Beg assured his full support to the industry.
The Expo is organized under the aegis of Govt. of India focuses on the Highly Labour Intensive Indian Handmade Carpet Industry and aims to provide employment to about 20 Lakhs workers/ artisans especially women directly or indirectly in the rural areas. With the participation of 275 exhibitors, India Carpet Expo is one of the largest Handmade Carpet Fairs in Asia with a unique platform for the buyers to source the best handmade carpets, Rugs and other floor coverings under one roof.
Organizers and Exhibitors both are happy and expressed their satisfaction with all the arrangements done by CEPC for all the Exhibitors and Buyers.
