41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) was held on 19th September 2024 in Hotel Radisson, Noida. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Kuldeep Raj Wattal, Chairman, CEPC Chairman along with the esteemed Members of the Committee of Administration (COA) – Mr. Anil Kumar Singh, Mr. Bodh Raj Malhotra, Capt. Mukesh Kumar Gombar, Mr. Mohd. Wasif Ansari, Mr. Shaukat Khan, Mr. Mehraj Jan, Mr. Piyush Kumar Baranwal, Mr. Rohit Gupta, and Mr. Husain Jafa Husaini and the Officiating Executive Director, Mr. Jag Mohan. In addition to the COA members, registered members of the Council were also present and actively participated in the discussions.
Shri Kuldeep Raj Wattal, Chairman, CEPC update the General body on the Council’s annual activities for the year 2023-24, highlighting the major milestones achieved during the year, upcoming activities for the year 2024-25 and discussing future objectives to enhance the global footprint of the Indian carpet industry.
General Body approved the Annual Report of the Council, Balance Sheet for the year 2023-24, appointment of an auditors for the year 2024-25. General Body also approved the postponement of the Council’s elections for the year 2023-24 and to retain the existing members of COA of the Council to function and discharge its power till the next elections are held and members are elected.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with Mr. Piyush Kumar Baranwal delivering a vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the attendees and highlighting the Council’s shared commitment to driving growth and innovation in the sector.
