40th INDIA CARPET EXPO – VIRTUAL EXHIBITION from 21st to 25th August, 2020 – 3rd Demo Meeting with Members.
Carpet Export Promotion Council has all set for 40th INDIA CARPET EXPO from 21st to 25th August, 2020 – This Virtual Edition is the 1st initiative to bridge the gap between Indian products and demand of Handmade Carpets and floor coverings across the globe in post pandemic era. The event will be held LIVE from 21st to 25th August, 2020 for buyers for the Handmade Carpets and other floor coverings.
It is a great and unique opportunity for the Members Exporters to get themselves associated with the event as an exhibitor to reach out to global buyers.
Today the 28th July, 2020, CEPC arranged 3rd Demo of the Virtual Exhibition for Members. Shri Umesh Kumar Gupta, Shri Rajender Prashad Mishra, Shri Feroze Waziri, Shri Sandeep Kataria, Shri Shree Ram Maurya, Members COA, CEPC alongwith participants attended the 3rd Demo through Video Conference.
Mr. Sooraj Dhawan of M/s Falcon Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. educate the Members how to decorate their booth through digital display in the first Virtual Exhibition and to use the other facilities on the platform i.e. details of the buyers & visitors on their booth, products liked by the buyers, how to send the meeting request to buyers, how to confirm the meeting with buyers, to manage the meeting schedule with buyers during the exhibition days etc.
Shri Sooraj Dhawan also shown the journey of the buyers on the Virtual Exhibition platform right from their registration to the view of the exhibitor booth, selection of products by the buyers, meeting requests by the buyers, video conferencing meeting etc.
Shri Umesh Kumar Gupta mentioned that Council will further organize demo on how to use/ hold the Video Conferencing meeting with buyers on the virtual exhibition platform for the participants to educate them and make them conversant with the system for smooth business during the show.
Shri Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director, CEPC assured 24X 7 assistance to the participants by the agency and CEPC staff. He further informed that team of CEPC officials is proactively taking care of the queries of the Members and resolving the issue on spot.
Shri Siddh Nath Singh, Chairman, CEPC and the whole Committee of Administration is hopeful that the Virtual Exhibition will be a grand success, industry will enter into a new era with the help of technology, open the doors of global market in the corona scenario and will be a mile stone. Buyers mobilization is in full swing and we are expecting almost more than 400 buyers to participate in the Virtual Exhibition.
